Do Not Follow Corruption in the Name of Light

I’ve learned that setting an example is more powerful than just speaking. In a world where everyone is talking, the truth often gets drowned out or ignored. That’s why I focus on action. For me, that starts with growing my own food.

This is more than a lifestyle choice — it’s a quiet form of resistance. Our food systems are dominated by powerful monopolies that grow richer while communities become more dependent and vulnerable. By growing my own food, I reduce my reliance on that system and take back a small piece of freedom and self-responsibility.

I also live by a simple principle: I don’t invade the space of others. I respect their choices and their paths. My aim isn’t to convince or control, but to live in truth and let my actions speak for themselves.

It’s important to understand that even ideas like “following the light” can be manipulated. Sometimes, what is presented as good or righteous actually supports corrupt systems — including those that profit from control over our most basic needs, like food. We have a responsibility to recognize this, to think critically, and to refuse to follow corruption disguised as progress.

"O you who have believed, why do you say what you do not do?"

— Qur’an 61:2
